I cannot help but touch on this as I am always getting asked if I would give my child the MMR.

I think we all need to open our eyes and accept the fact that no one has proven the link between Autism and the MMR vaccine. We need more published data on this, as so many parents are scared off by the thought that if their child is given the MMR they may, Allah Forbid, get autism later on in their life. It is a horrific thought. Parents need to have their mind put at rest. Umm Three Gems.

thats true umm three gems. there is plenty of evidence out there now that the two are not linked. yet kids have died because of these silly scares. how many deaths will it take before people realise?
Alhamdullilah. This shows what a mess we can end up in if we follow the media and people with no medical based background.
We have to gfive up the conspiricy theories and return to trusting doctors to give the best treatment for the individual. Good research is based on rigourous testing with controlled conditions. Not on the basis of one man who was funded by zealous solicitors looking for an excuse to sue.
When we don't trust doctors we leave ourselves open to charlatans and pseudo doctors that prescribe nothing to cure everything. La hawala wa la quwata illa bIllah.
